dartonman
It may not matter, due to the fact he is just a "bordering" landowner where I hunt, but I still feel good about what I did. My landowner had an older model 60 Marlin rifle with a small cheap .22 scope on it, that was really hard to even focus one eye on, so I had an extra red dot at home, as I recently purchased two others from forums, so I put a red dot scope on his gun for free. He has went thru about 700 rounds since yesterday..he is having the time of his life according to him. Due to powers out of my control, I may not even be on the land next to his much longer, but I sure like this guy and his wife always makes fresh cookies for us, so whether I hunt in the area or not, I still have a great friend. al

buckee
That's cool Al. The farm I've been hunting now for 20 years, started out with a "NO, I don't want any hunters here". Sometimes all it takes is a little respect, politeness, and willing to accept a no with a smile on your face.
