Tim Andrus
Just got back in from haning a new set. We put the stands close but not too close to where all of the bucks entered the field from last night's sit. A 130 class buck was bedded right where we hung the set today. Each set we are getting closer to letting an arrow fly. Will have updates later from the stand...

92xj
Small buck has walked out 35 yards away and decided he wanted to take a nap and is now bedded down in front of Tim.
92xj
2 does and a shooter buck headed right for Tim. Just out of range, the buck walks a different trail as the two does walk right under his stand. What the heck is wrong with those dang Montana bucks!? 92xj
I know, right! He's been close. Still has plenty of time. Didn't get any updates after 15 minutes of shooting light left this evening. Hopefully the morning brings more sightings and a shooter buck within range. Go get 'em Timbo!

Yep, that's for sure. It always amazed me how many guys think the pro-staffers have it easy when it comes to bagging big ones. They have to pass on a lot of great deer and a lot of great shots, just because the light isn't good for the camera. And you and I both know, that most of the best deer hunting is right at last legal shooting light. These guys work hard at getting it all on film and my hat is off to all of them. Tim Andrus
yep what happens is up to the bif guy up above.. Clint and I have set stands everyday and we think were in the best set up to work with. We have seen shooters every sit only 1 in range ( not enough cameralight for good video) so he got a pass . One of the joys of filming a hunt The camera saves a few deer every year. Used to let it get to me but now I just chalk it up to it was meant to be and try again. Also , used to get frustrated ,mad , you name it lol but doesent do any good So I just go on knowing I would have a bunch more dead deer without a camera . But I choose it and love it Its hunting. Good nite all shower and some shut eye up at 5 am for another round of this rodeo LOL

JimT
Sounds like your getting close Tim. I have a question. A lot went into this hunt obviously. Last day, last moment and the camera can't get on the deer. Will you shoot?
