Goinghuntin
Securing permission to deer hunt as it is for turkey hunting around here :bummed: I asked one guy to hunt and he said no, I hunt his land for turkey every spring but he said no to deer. Another guy wouldn't let me walk his fenceline to my stand, didn't have a reason. I hunt turkey on his ground too. Everybody here has a nephew or a buddy that hunts deer. Anyone else having these troubles? Nathan
ruttinbuc
For the past 10 years or so it has been tougher to get places to hunt deer or turkey. Farmers want the deer dead when they complain to the state. Ask to hunt and forget about it.
WVdeerhunter
I have land and will let some1 turkey hunt but wont let them deer hunt. Thats because i deer hunt and dont turkey hunt so can you see why they might let you turkey hunt if none of them do but they love deer hunting. Ethan Givan
Same for me. I have several more turkey hunting places than I do deer hunting. Everyone around here deer hunts themselves, or they have close family that deer hunt. Makes it tough.
