blacktailslayer
This is pretty interesting and not very surprising about some wildlife video's. That includes a video on wolves. http://news.yahoo.com/video/environment-15749659/22174797 http://blog.moviefone.com/2010/10/01/wildlife-filmmaker-chris-palmer-says-nature-docs-are-manipulative/?icid=main|main|dl5|sec1_lnk3|175062
buckee
I suspected this a long, long time ago. I mean, how many times have you watched a documentary and said to yourself .. Holy cow..How the heck would/could anyone get that shot in the wild? We live in the world of Disney/dizzy where lies are OK, as long as everyone loves it. It's no wonder we have so many anti's out there who are totally uneducated on what really goes on in the natural world.
ruttinbuc
Nope, not surprising at all. People who don't realize how much of it is fake are either brainwashed or brain dead. Ask TimothyTreadwell. http://www.katmaibears.com/timothytreadwell.htm There is a little bit of Hollywood in everything we watch when it comes telling a story. redkneck
I agree with you Steve 100%..... But, how many of these shows are enhanced and made so much better with such footage? Does a captive wolf basically suckle her pups the same as a wild one... I think so. Most of those incredible shots would be absolutely impossible for anyone to get, not even once in a lifetime. I don't have a problem with this practice, as long as there's full disclosure up front.
