The Kid
so I took my sister out on monday we were sitting 10 yards apart in different trees and we had a buck come in and i txted her to get redy and shoot it, well I notice about a 130 inch deer about 80 yards coming on the same trail, well i couldnt text her fast enough to not shoot the first buck , she shot missed the deer bounded off 10 yards and then stopped, the big buck just watch and sat there for 3 to 4 min and then trotted off, i dont think he was to scared, do you think he will be back? ruttinbuc
He will be back, but might avoid the tree. Set up farther up the trail if you can. Hard to say. Did he give you a look and spot you? He might skirt that stand toward yours.
bloodtrails
Stay positive! get out there in different trees and do it again!
buckee
I'd stay right where you are. Give that spot a couple of days to cool off and try it again. It doesn't sound like he really knew what spooked him, and was just uneasy. Deer have short memories

Jeramie
Its hard to say he will be back but based on the reaction he likely didnt leave the area. Thats not to say he wont start the rut and leave looking for does but it doesnt sound like she scared him bad enough to move him out of the area....
