Turkeygirl
After I get done with one cold, I come down with another. The badside of working in a hospital where people come in for colds when they should just stay home:taped: Started with this one Monday I think...slight laryngitis and some coughing. Feeling better today but my voice is not, well my voice, lol. Gotta shoot my bow today for sure, otherwise plan to take it easy. Gotta be 100% for the archery opener next Saturday!:camera: Anyone else sick yet?
c_lou
My wife has had a cough for a few days. My daughter just got over pnemonia(sp?). I love this time of year, but I also don't love this time of year. Eat an Orange.

Part of what is wrong with our healthcare problems. Take some vitamins Ruth, that and lots of handwashing. Multivitamins along with extra vitamin c will help boost the immune system. Texan_Til_I_Die
Yep, I work at a hospital too. I don't do direct patient care, but I still get exposed to every disease known to man. I know you've heard it a jillion times, but frequent and thorough hand washing is your best defense. And from what I've read, hand washing is more effective than the alcohol gel type cleaners. Seems people do not know how to treat a simple cold at home..all they want is an antibiotic... I heard that as well, good old handwashing works better than the alcohol stuff...I think bacteria is going to become immune if not already to the alcohol based sanitizers. I will say having the sun out is helping:1eye:
