hoyt19
Re: Fletching Color... I have a terrible time seeing my arrows in flight, so this year I used a hot pink wrap and neon yellow feathers on the arrows for Hoyt #1 and american flag wraps with white feathers on the arrows for Hoyt #2. That took care of the visabilty problem
MossySNPR
Re: Fletching Color... Yellow and White for best visibility for me... although be sure if your a turkey bowhunter to switch to darker coloured fletching. Alot of people fail to realize they and their weapon are fully camoed but they have white fletching! LOL
Guest finnlander
Re: Fletching Color... 2 Blue and 1 Orange. I like the idea of covering up the fletchings on the remaining arrows in your quiver. Usually I detach my wuiver from my boew and hide them best I can. Seems like it defeats the purpose of all the camo if your going to have bright colored fletchings. I might have to change for nexst year. Especially since I intend to bow hunt turkey this spring. Good Point guys.
GWSmith
Re: Fletching Color... I like tedicast's fletching there...man that should stand out in flight!!! I was wondering something here.....has anyone ever considered using an all black or all dark green arrow with a Luminock??? (something along the lines of looking like a stealth fighter jet with an afterburner...LOL) "Seems like it defeats the purpose of all the camo if your going to have bright colored fletchings." I have always thought that same thing!!! How many times have we been told over our years of hunting to cover up our hands..."They are like daytime flashlights"...or something to that effect anyways. I agree to having a fascination with different crestings and wraps. I have wondered though why a deer would not be able to see these brightly colored things moving like an uncovered hand. IF they are not bothered by the colors then why do we wear facemasks and gloves???? Good suggestion on removing the quiver but be sure to practice that way especially when sighting in your bow!!!
