45 yard line

i think the deer at my spot bought range finders. 40 yards is the most i will shoot at live game. Ive got deer skirting me almost every weekend at 45 50 yards. no good trees to hand a stand even if i wanted to move. going to stick it out in my honey hole because if i move and see them pass my blind while I'm not in it ill probably throw my bow out of the tree and buy a set of golf clubs lol

Last year that was me...the deer kept coming in and out in this one corner...A big monster came out and I watched him walk right into that corner. We now have a ladder stand in that corner...lots of trails there so we'll see what they do this year but I still have my one stand set because deer still come in..

Know what youre comfortable with! They can do some funny things at long distances.

I actually had a buck spin on an arrow at about 10 -12 yards once. He spun so fast it hit him in the neck quartering away. He dropped like a brick. Had it not found his spine I would have never known what happened!

Bows are capable of 50 yard shots but everything has to be dang near perfect!
