HUNTINGMAN
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with this stuff. I have a bottle left from last year and was thinking about useing it this year. I wonder if it's still good or not.
ChasinTail
I have used it with quite a bit of success. I have never used year old 307 but I guess if it was kept semi cool it should be fine. It smells like black licorice to me but the deer here seem to enjoy it. They usually come in to my wicks with their nose in the air.
Strut10
Actually had a dandy 7-pointer (19-20 inch range), walking hard, get downwind of a 307 wick and change direction. He walked staight to the wick, stuck his nose on it and took a looooong, deep drag. I could hear him sniffing from 13 yards away. Lucky for him, I was looking for something with a few more points at the time or he'd have been at the Trail's End in more ways than one. Ohiobucks
I had a yearling doe on opening morning 2 weeks ago that couldn't get enough of it off the scent wick. She stuck around for quite sometime with the wick in her face.
Tominator
Haven't used that stuff in about 20 years. Never had any luck with it. Then again, that was when Ohio didn't have many deer. Couldn't even shoot a doe back then.
ruttinbuc
It is an anise based concoction that Wildlife Research markets. Another similar lure is Tom Miranda's HS Scents Two Drop Surpeme. They are really nothing more than curiosity scents. Most curiosity scents have a "sweet" smell. Bob Kirschners Curiosty scent is one of the best of those type scents.
