sureshot
I am so exited got drawn for a moose tag in my own area, first time it has ever been offered, only 25 cow tags and 25 bull tags, I got a cow but still exited! I know the first couple days of the bull season 16 I know of were shot, I have been out spotting the past few nights and seeing a few every night.really easy to spot in wide open farmland with the odd old farm the bed in!hardest part is calling for hours to get permission for hundreds of thousands of acres.Tonight I seen 2 cows and 2 calves and a big old single cow, last night a bull and 3 cows and calves, the night before 5 cows and calves and a bull.all driving the roads.I am bringing the bow and going to try to get it with the bow, a little more exiting, not to hard to shoot one with a rifle seeing they are just like farm cows if not tamer. I know it will not be a true hard moose hunt but I am looking foreward to the 500 pounds of grain fed juicy meat in the freezer, only 4 more sleeps, friday it opens!! colorado bob
My only suggestion----shoot her close to the road or a place where you can get a tractor to her. Them things are BIG. CB
