NiteRunner
I haven't even had my truck for 3 months yet and you know what happened? Someone hit me! Not a major hit, but my first accident none the less. I was coming home from work and there's parking spots along the side of the road. Well, I was stopped waiting for someone to back out. Just as that car righted themselves and got ready to go, wham! I felt impact. I thought at first that someone had rear ended me, but realized then that it came from the right side. Someone else was pulling out of a parking spot and never looked behind them. So my truck suffered a hit to the rear tire, a small dent next to the tire and a scuff/scrape right above the tire. The guy actually did more damage to his Chrysler van than to my F-150, that's a truck for ya! Nice guy though and we're in the process of getting things in order to make it right. I think the worst part about the whole deal was having to wait for the police to write everything up. That and I was shaking so bad right after it happened that I could barely dial on my cell phone. Lol But I've never had anything like that happen before so I was nervous! Fun Fun.
Goinghuntin
I had my first and only accident five years ago. They sure are scary! A little old lady pulled right out into me while I was driving my dad's Buick Insurance paid him $1500 for a hole the size of a softball put in the fender Nathan
92xj
Dang, that stinks. I have never been in a wreck with another vehicle. (knock on wood) I have rolled over a ton of times though. The first time it happened, I got the scarey, shaking nerves going on, I couldn't keep my leg from jumping off the gas pedal, so I know all about that. Glad that it wasn't as bad as it could of been and I wish you luck getting it all figured out and hope that everything goes smooth.

Shaun_300
That sucks Laura! At least you're ok, the truck can be fixed. Luckily I've never been in any kind of accident on any vehicle. Besides hitting a snow fence at around 70mph on my snowmobile, thankfully there was a huge drift right in front of it that braced the impact, the skies were 4 inches from hitting the fence. I wasn't hurt at all, surprisingly my sled wasn't either.
stevebeilgard
i hit a guy stopped at a stop light. he got out of the car, and i notice he was a MIDGET! i opened up the window and he said "I'm not Happy". and i said "so, then, which one are you?". and the fight started. just kidding, of course. i'm glad only the vehicles and ego's were hurt. Sorry to hear that. At least the damage was less than it could've been.
NiteRunner
Taking it to get estimated today or tomorrow. The insurance was nice and said just take it where ever and fax them the estimate. Everyone keeps saying they're going to keep it at least over night but I'm hoping they don't. It's a ding and scuff that shouldn't take too much.
