92xj
Man, I am getting the itch to start building my truck. Been pricing out dana 60s, coilovers, dual transfer case, tubing, supra motors, turbos, seats and harnesses. Dang it, someone talk me out of it!!! Stupid expensive hobby. I love the going slow and crawling but also the speed of desert racing. I am wanting to do a combo rig, something that I can haul tail through the desert then slam on the brakes to crawl. Oh, the thoughts running through my mind.

Oh, the thoughts running through my mind. Sounds like a bad idea, but I never cared for "dual-sport" bikes either. I say pick something and go with it, or you can be mediocre at both...... but then again I'm an idiot. ......btw they make a salve for the itch. Look at this link. I can not view YouTube at work so hopefully this is the correct link. It should be King of the Hammers, 2010 Anarchy. If it isn't search King of the Hammers. This event is huge. redkneck
I'll check it out when my boss aint over the shoulder. Down here with have neither deserts nor rocks, so we just climb trees with trucks, but usually they don't drive off when that happens. Shaun_300
I know the feeling Ben! Just got finished my truck project not long ago. Got a couple more things to iron out on it, but I'm just glad the engine is running nice and smooth (besides the cam ) with no ticks or knocks. The rest is minor. The old Chevy I'm driving now is the only 4x4 that I haven't souped up in some way, and it's driving me crazy.
