Rages..!!

I personally use the Grim Reaper BH and in my opinion much better head. My brother in law always did use the rage until he messed up on a bear. The Rage will deflect off a shoulder or something like that. The Reaper punches right through! I have shot several deer with Reapers and the blood trail is as good as the Rage trust me.

I shot them last year and wasn't real happy. I will say this, I don't think you can get a deadlier BH for a broad-side ribcage shot, or if I had to gut-shoot one, I would feel better knowing I had a rage than a muzzy on it. I don't like the performance as much on quartering away shots. I shot one from a high angle quartering away and I think only one blade deployed. The deer piled up in 40 yards though.

They are very good broadheads, but like all broadheads, they have their niche shots.

Good luck with them, they should serve you well. I went back to fixed blades, also make sure you check the blades before you shoot, they will come off the o-ring in your quiver..

I tried them out last year and had some success with them, loved the blood trails but not to impressed with the penetration of them for going through bone. The tip isn't designed for bone splitting like Muzzy's or Grim Reapers. I've seen to many videos of the these heads on arrows coming back out with no pass through. They really suck for changing the blades out or even the cutting tip, very time consuming and somewhat dangerous. I'm still staying with my Muzzy's but never afraid to try a new head out, I hope I can take a deer in Ohio with the Reapers I bought.
