Jeramie
I didnt feel it but a lot of people in our office felt it this morning. I work on the 7th floor and there were several people hollering, asking what the heck was that?! Here is your answer........ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/Quakes/us2010ciay.php
wtnhunt
Heard about it on the news a little while ago. They said it was centered around Norman, OK. Sounds like it was not too bad, hope there were no injuries or serious damage.
Jeramie
I dont think it was serious. It just shook everything pretty good. Im getting emails from people all over NE Oklahoma who felt it. People are more excited than scared. Keep in mind this is the state where we stand in our yards with cameras watching tornados go by.. RTPROFamily
Randy was between Atoka and Durant and had a blowout and he said that he felt it. Maybe that is what we tell the auto club. The earthquake caused the blowout!
bfletch7441
And I missed it! I was outside when it happened and didn't feel a thing. Folks here in the office said the building swayed and desks danced. Ben

That's all we've got is yearling bucks.....:hammer1: Didn't feel it down in the Southeast corner. Mountains must've acted as shock absorbers. Shaun_300
Cool! Earthquakes are neat, when they don't cause destruction of course. We had a 5.7 quake hit about 70 miles from here in Quebec this summer, I didn't feel it either because it happened in the middle of the day when I was working. Lots of noise in the shop plus they were repaving our parking lot when it happened. The guys in the service drive thru and people in sales said it shook the windows and rafters pretty good! Reminds me of these Pennsylvanians anytime it thunders I think it doesn't have the luster to you, because you missed it. Being the second largest recorded in the state kind of makes it a big deal to some since most Okies have never felt one before. I was driving during the time, so I felt nothing.
