Real shame we have elected officials that thumb their noses at their consituents and do not use better judgement. Hopefully enough voters will have had enough and will let those politicians know when they vote here in a couple weeks. m gardner Posted October 15, 2010 Report Share Posted October 15, 2010 What's going on right now is not distasteful enough to cause most people to take any action. I'm a Libertarian and support going back to the Constitution and abolishing all laws that defy it even marginally. This november will be interesting to watch. I believe that this will end when it fails on it's own. Why I say this is from watching the situation on the border and in Phoenix. People are willing to let the border remain open and massive quantities of drugs and humans be smuggled through, as long as they are not directly affected by the consequenses. The government won't defend us and says we can't do it ourselves and most are okay with that as long as they can still reap the benfits of this country's riches. It will end when the system collapses. When the music stops hope you are one of the ones that has a chair. Be prepared for the worse. Pray for the best. Lets turn the whole damn thing over to rookies. Why do we have so much illegal immigration? Is it because employers are trying to hire workers cheap? No, it's because sorry, lazy Americans won't work. If a society isn't willing to put in the hard work to make progress, and we are also not winning on the intellectual property side of the equation since we are a nation of dropouts, then we are doomed to a bad fate in our lifetime.
