Add your name to the list if your interested in joining the weightloss/fitness competition.

I will run sign ups til next friday and we can begin on Monday. We will start your stats at the time you sign up now. So if your interested please add you username, weight, height, and any pics you might wanna add to show progress.

I know not everyone wants to lose weight, so we can have a fit class and a weight loss percentage class. The fit class will either have to be judged by pics, or another idea I had was strength gains. We can toss around some ideas for the best way to decide a class winner in the next week or so for those interested in that class.

As for the weight percentage class...its pretty simple. The winner will be who loses the biggest percentage of their weight.

This is all for fun and any and all ideas are welcome. I encourage EVERYONE here to participate. Let's keep each other responsible and dedicated to the program. Don't sign up if your gonna do it halfway and then make excuses. I work 80-90 HRS a week, have a one year old, and still manage an hour a day to exercise.

Best of luck to everyone, and heres to our health!:gunsmilie:

Well, it looks like it's just you and I Kyle.

My goal is to just lose weight. Once I do this I will work more on building muscle and tone, something I've never been really.

I will be doing cardio for 30-45 then a 30 minute weight workout for upper body. I dont really want to build any more muscle in my legs, They are plenty strong and tone, its the upper body I need to work on. I will begin Monday morning with a weigh in.

Hit the gym tonight and fluffed out early into my workout. Today was Chest/Triceps and I made it to my second round and felt like throwing up. I do a high intensity workout based off of p90X. No more than 30-45 seconds of rest before the next set. Usually I breeze through this particular workout, but I just had no go. No pump, very little sweat, and an upset stomach.

Oh well theres always tomorrow. Just downed my Creatine shake, and Jennifer is cooking chicken fajitas with fresh bell peppers. Gonna only eat one serving of fajitas and a protein bar. They are TERRIBLE!

For those interested in my diet....it's simple. I'm watching my calorie intake while eating as much protein as I can stomach. I had my doctor back home figure a calorie intake required to maintain my weight and simply try to stay under it daily. Along with burning calories while working out and consuming less calories ( 3100 for my weight/height ) I should lose weight? Will it work, I dunno. I'm also trying to make the calories I consume healthy ones. No junk food. I'm trying to cut POP out completely and am struggling with it.

Anyways heres my weigh in. I'm down 6lbs from 2 weeks ago!

Day 1 -

B- Slim fast shake

L- turkey, cheese on whole wheat with hot sauce

afternoon - turkey

D - slim fast

roughly 750 calroies total 1.5 gallons of water today (which is low for me, I normally drink 2 a day, Nothing else, havent had a soda in many many years. No beer during the week and very few every other weekend, thats the plan anyways)

I want to pick up some protein bars for my afternoon snack, but money is tight and they are epensive. Maybe next week I will get some. Got any recommendations?

30 minutes upper body free weights and a 1.48mile walk.

For you guys wanted to keep track of your walking/running distances without driving them use this to track your routes and figure new ones before going on them.

I simply can not do the shake diet. I have to eat or I get weak fast. 750 calories is impressive, but I'd be starving myself. Make sure u get enough carbs to keep u going benji. Starving isn't dieting, keep that in mind.

I only got hungry once yesterday around 9am and I downed a big glass of water and that held me over til lunch. I dont feel like i'm starving and didnt get tired at all. We will see what today brings; going to do exactly the same but for dinner I have a nice bowl of healthy choice soup waiting on me. I also figure I am going to lift every other day, since I am only working my upper body, I figure a day of rest is good everyother day, is this correct or should I slam out 3 days and then rest 2 or what?

Today:

B- Nada

L- 2 cups of bean soup

S- Turkey sammich and a few tater chips

And water all throughout the day and will do .5 mile walk.

Not sure how many calories that is, never have cared enough to add it all up but it can't be much. You boys have fun with your protein bars and slim fast shakes, that mess ain't for me.

You should for sure eat breakfast, you will lose weight by doing this. I used to never eat breakfast and always came up with excuses to not eat it, like not having enough time. This is the only reason I went to the slim fast shakes. Every single person has at least a 30 second window in the morning, most of the time being on their drive to work, to down a shake. Surprisingly enough, they hold me over till 11:15 when I go eat lunch. I have found that with this routine I dont get that midday tired feeling and it just helpes me through the day. I am now looking forward to the weekends when I will have time to cook some eggs. Breakfast foods are tough to diet with for me because I love home cooked breakfast foods. Bacon, eggs, bisuits, sausage, livermush, pancakes, blueberry muffins and bacon egg and cheese sandwichs, but on this stupid diet, I guess the only thing I can really eat are eggs. Anyhow, get something in you Corey at the beginning of your day, anything really to get that metabolism kicked in. It will make your day much more pleasant during dieting.
