Benji,

You outta do your work outs with a day of rest in-between if your just wanting to tone. Also u should really reconsider working your legs out because that's where 70% of your natural testosterone is stored. Working the legs helps release that and increases your ability to build leaner muscle faster. Not to mention increasing overall strength. I hate legs. But i do it anyways.

Just got in from the gym. Today was leg day. Did squats, calf raises, leg extensions, and ab work. Also ran 1.5 miles around the indoor track. Sat in the sauna for 10 mins and I feel awesome!!!!

Had grilled salmon, noodles and tomatoe sauce, and green beans for supper. The usual granola bar snacks, and fajitas for lunch. Only drank one vanilla coke today...everything else was water.

Ready for bed and work in the morning. Worked late today, so it pushed my workout a little later than normal!

ok, on a very serious note here, that most will find funny or not serious, but I am serious.

What kind of buttocks work outs are there? I have a pretty muscular buttocks now but would like it to be a little bigger. I dont want a fat flabby buttocks but a muscular one, like I have now, just bigger. Any ideas or thoughts? mature ones please. I know this might be very hard for most people, and I was kinda laughing while typing this but I am serious about this. Kyle, any thoughts since you seem to work out often?

Worked my arms, abs, and ran tonight. Got a great workout in with a killer pump. Set in the sauna again and sweat a ton. Feeling good!

Had a bacon, egg, cheese croisant ( spelling? ) for breakfast, a granola bar at 10am, then a healthy choice beef tips/noodles ( 290 cal ) for lunch, another granola at 3, and then roast n taters for supper before heading to the gym.

Pulled a double workout today. Got moved off a job so I can start another one in a week and got today off.

This morning I went up to the gym and ran and worked my abs. I got about 3 miles in and a killer Ab session in. Then Jenn, Cash, and I went back up around 545PM and I hit my shoulders pretty good. My neck and lower back keeps cramping up on me really bad when I work shoulders, so I'm having to use alot less weight than I normally would. Regardless I got a good shoulder workout in and I ran an additional 2 miles. that makes for 5 miles in one day....a personal best for me granted it was split up.

As for my diet today....I had a 90 calorie blueberry cereal bar and a banana for breakfast.

For brunch I had a 90 calorie granola.

Lunch was another healthy choice beef tip noodle dinner ( 290 calories )

3PM snack was one package of ramen noodles/protein shake....I don't recommend that mixture....it stinks later. Plus it's a bit high on calories.

Before heading to the gym again I ate another 90 calorie granola bar.

And now for supper we are gonna have honey glazed chicken breast, green beans, and noodles and tomatoe sauce.

I feel great! And you boys better be scared for Mondays weigh-in cause I am starting to notice a change in my build, and it's a much leaner one!!!

Wow, I'm the last 3 replies in this thread....my buddies haven't already quit on me have they?

I found an awesome application on my iphone for those of you with smart phones. It's called my fitness pal, and it is an awesome tool to count calories accurately and help you achieve your goals. Also lets you know if you are starving yourself too.

Today was Chest/Triceps/Abs at the gym. Got a decent workout in, but I was kinda mentally gone due to being excited about going home tomorrow.

Diet today-

Breakfast was a bacon, egg cheese croisant 413 cal

Snacks-blueberry cereal bar 90 cal

Protein Shake 120 cal

Dr. Pepper 250 cal

Lunch was healthy choice tortellini 230 cal that I shared half of with Mr. Cash.

Snuck in some cheerios too...200 cal

Dinner is chicken n rice, green beans 800 calories

Total of 2297 calories...mixed with the gym burning cals puts me around 1500 cals on the day.

Going home is gonna make working out a challenge but I'm gonna still run and do pushups!

anybody else still in this thing?

I did my Monday morning weigh in and was a little disappointed. I came in at 238.2, so 3.6 lbs less than last week. I would have like to have seen more come off, but I think with the weights and running I have been doing I built up a little muscle mass. I feel a **** of a lot better and stronger. This week should be a good week for me. I have no plans other than hunt Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I dont foresee anything throwing my off track. Anyhow, hopefully everyone else checks and weighs in.

I'm still in it.

Will have to weigh in when I go on lunch break. Haven't bought a scale yet, so I will run over to my parents house and use theirs.

I've been doing pretty good so far as far as watching what I eat and such. Haven't splurged, well besides Saturday night at Olive Garden. That will probably end up biting me in the buttocks.

A buddy of mine is big into jujitsu and said I could come over and work out with him, which is good because I have no self motivation.

Yeah, that self motivation is hard. It's a lot easier to work out with someone else. Luckily for you, you have your buddy. I bet that will be a great work out. Luckily for me, I have Magster who begs to go on walks every night, so that makes doing my cardio a lot easier. While, I am on the floor doing weights, she is constantly attacking me. Anyhow, good luck!
