randyoitker1
First of all, I want to thank everyone for the congrats on my antelope. I have been so busy and everyone has been so helpful about my blowout in OK. A blowout on that truck at 85mph is a little scary! We did not take a jack or tools to change a tire. So, we had to call roadside assistance. The guy that came was a real Hoot! He brought this little bitty floor jack that wouldn't lift up a Volkswagon! He starts jacking this truck up and he turns around and said This ain't gonna work! So, he turns his rolloff truck around and extended the bed underneath my truck and lifted it. Then after he got finished fixing the tire,he turned around and said DO You Guys HUNT?? I told him that I did it professionally! Well for everybody out there who looks up to us so called professionals, this wrecker guy (who came from Texas 45 miles away) told us about a 197 buck that he killed last year and about a 202 buck that he shot the year before that! And this guy thought that I was someone special because i was a professional! Everyday I meet people that literally are professional hunters that no one has ever heard of. I feel so fortunate to make a living in the outdoors. I am going to post some pics. of my new truck and video of my misfortunes! Thanks again, Randy
Shaun_300
That really sucks you had a blowout on your way down Randy! Sounds like it all had a happy ending despite what happened. Looking forward you seeing your pics and video bud.
brad dryden
Gosh I couldn't imagine. I have had tires blow up twice at that in the high school parking lock from I guess over heating? One of my friends said it sounded like a bomb going off.
GWSmith
Glad that your alright....and have the humility that so many lack!
ruttinbuc
That had to be a scary moment for sure, Randy! Glad you and your dad got to your destination no worse for wear. Great story of the adventure and about the people you meet. GW has it right about you being ever so humble which is truly lacking. It defines who you are. That along with your skills is a plus to the outdoor industry. Looking forward to seeing pics of the new ride and hearing a bit of your new show

Dawg
Blowouts @ 85mph can be dangerous, I'm glad you are ok too! As for the big buck story, take it with a grain of salt, ain't no deer that big down here in Texas!
