ruttinbuc
I made a video of my day in the tree Wednesday for those who would like to see it as I did in my neck of the woods. It was quite the day as were others on this property. The deer hunting can only get better as they are really starting to show up.

Dawg
Thanks Corey! http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101866 Must've overlooked that thread somehow. That was a nice buck, would have been hard for me to pass up too. Maybe it will pay off and you will get a shot at the "no doubter" you saw. Maybe it will pay off and you will get a shot at the "no doubter" you saw. That is what I'm hoping for! It would be the same either way. Just knowing he could show up at anytime is the thrill of the hunt. I am going to have fun trying!
92xj
Man, I wouldn't mind being in a layout blind in that field.
ruttinbuc
Man, I wouldn't mind being in a layout blind in that field. The Raritan River is right behind by a little ways. A lot of ducks were getting whacked Saturday a week ago! At least it sounded like they were.

ruttinbuc
Thanks guys I hope I don't have regrets. I saw the no doubter this morning walk right below the Natural Blind in the video. He was quartering the wind and I might have beat his nose had I been in there. He's making me nuts already.
ruttinbuc
I had him chasing a doe headed my way this morning...but the dang doe led him into the thick stuff and never came back. I grunted their way hoping she would run to the sound to get him off of her tail. I'll try again this afternoon.
wtnhunt
Nice clip Mike. Your grunt sounded like a bullfrog, looked like it worked well. Hope you end up in the right place at the right time for the big boy here real soon.

Funny what they react to. Not the first time I got one to turn with that. Another one is just a simple high pitched "me"...
