Shaun_300
When I install a motor/regulator I always plug it into the harness and try it to be sure it works. WORD OF CAUTION! Be careful where you have your hands. These things move much faster than you might think. They can pinch you. Have Fun, Lynn Yep, watch the fingers! BUT! I've also been caught on used parts, AKA sunfire/cavalier regulators. Diagnose it, yeah it needs a motor and or regulator, get one from the wrecker, plug it in, works great. Install it and put the load of the window on it and the motor is shot. With no load on it, it works great, as soon as it tries to move a window it stalls out and dies. Gotta watch that too. LETMGROW
Electrical parts can be tricky! Most parts outlets have a policy of no return on electrical parts. Yeah! If you install it and it doesn't work there is a potential for argument. Do yourself a favor and clarify this before leaving the store. I tell the counterperson I am going to plug it in and try it...... If they don't agree I will not buy the part. Buy a part and you should get a written guarantee. Dang it, we pay enough for things today at least the seller should back up what they sell. New, re-man or used shouldn't matter. If they don't trust you, why should you trust them.
