Shaun_300
I felt like that last weekend, sat on the couch at the camp debating whether to go for a walk to partridge hunt, never ended up going. Went the day before so if I hadn't of I would have been more eager probably.
redkneck
Why not go be lazy in the stand? stay home. the dears are more important than deer. Take the kids hunting and get lazy on the stand.
Prairiepredator
I have done it before. I hate not going out though; it bothers me when I don't go out when I don't have a good excuse to not go out. I often just go for a quick drive to look for deer when I feel too lazy. Muff
ok so now I have made plans to hunt in the morning with a buddy....so I guess I will get my lazy butt out of bed and go to the stand for a few hours.
TBow
Am I too lazy to go hunting? Heck no way! Sometimes I have to really exert myself 10 or 15 times to hit the alarm clock, before I finally shut it off....and just stay in bed! :sleep1:HEY! That's a lot of work....in addition to all the nagging I have to put up with from the bride on the other side of the bed. Sheesh! You'd think she'd be used to it by now! BTW: Good luck in the stand Muff, in the morning. TBow
huntnfish
I work at night most of the time and have a hard time getting up for those morning hunts. Somedays the alarm clock goes off and I turn it off and roll back over and go back to sleep. Then later in the day I am kicking myself for not going hunting. arrow32
Good luck in the stand in the morning. I was out today with not much action. Was my first day out this year and it felt good.
ruttinbuc
Yes, many times i need some real motivation to get moving. I think it is more of a funk than lazy though.
Jeramie
Anymore yes.... I didnt use to feel like this but any chance I get to do nothing is taken, dang near every time, these days.
WHISKEYSWAMP
this year has been rough for me more than any... worked hard on a lot of projects around the house and haven't had much down time to just veg out and relax. However, now that the rut is getting closer, I'm getting more motivated to put the project list aside and hit the woods.

Rhino
I was thinking yes until you added "oh yeah and I have not been in the stand once yet" When you added that to the mix...Heck NO. I'll sure take a break from hunting but I can't recall the last time I missed out on the 1st opportunity I had to hit the woods each season. Hope you enjoyed the afternoon & evening with the family. BTW...I'm heading to the woods today to enjoy the peacefulness of being with nature by myself for 48 hours or so before the regular bowhunting crew starts showing up midday Friday. swohiodave
A few times a year i wake up and just decide to roll over and go back to bed. Working 5 days a week and getting up early on the weekends as well really takes a toll on your body.
