Newarcher
Hi all, I have seen Michael Waddell use what appears to be an elastic rangefinder strap that keeps the rangefinder under his arm for quick access. Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks, Michael
RTPROFamily
Go to www.basspro.com and type in under search: Redhead optics harness system. They are on sale.

Newarcher
Thanks, I have the bino buddies but I use them for my binos. What I was actually thinking about was a single strap which seemed to hold the range finder underneath his armpit and he could use with one hand. Jeramie
I would like to know too. I use the Bino System for my binos and clip the range finder on with the bino system. It works but is cumbersome and loud.... I was just thinking about picking up something new for the range finder.
wtnhunt
Think butler creek had Waddell's "bone collector" bino harness, might be who has the strap you are referring to.
Dawg
Is it a single strap or a tether? I've seen him wear both but can't remember which one he has his rangefinder hooked to.
Newarcher
I believe what I was seeing was a single tether that was elastic because it kept the rangefinder between his arm and side but could easily be pulled out for use. I have seen some suggestions to use a high quality fishing retractor pinned to the shirt or vest. New
Mach1
Probably not what he uses since it's a Nikon product... http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/Optics/Optics-Accessories/Optics-Harnesses|/pc/104791680/c/104752080/sc/104466780/i/104013180/Nikon-Retractable-Rangefinder-Tether/720499.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fhunting-optics-optics-accessories-optics-harnesses%2F_%2FN-1100070%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104013180

ruttinbuc
I was looking to use a long wide bino strap and adjust it to fit. The strap would be worn over the shoulder. Should serve that purpose.
