Gator
Needing a new pair and SOON!!! Not wanting to spend a ton of money, maybe $150. Anyone have any experience on something in that range?
Flintlock1776
Look at Vortex Optics. There is a guy over on AT sells them at a good discount to MSRP. Great quality binos. I have a pair and am happy with them
wtnhunt
Have heard pretty good reviews on the vortex optics. There are a few in that price range I would look at including the leupold acadia line, which may run a little higher. Would also be sure to check out the nikon trailblazer's Jason, they should be right around that price range, actually think they are clearanced at cabelas right now too, seems like we got a bargain cave flyer here not too long back with our bill that had them on sale. I could be wrong but I believe the trailblazer's are the next line down from the monarch's. Cabelas had some pretty good reviews on them last summer when I was looking before I bought our monarch atb's. Just my personal opinion fwiw, but nikon glass is hard to beat in the price ranges they fall into.
redkneck
Been happy with my Nikons with lifetime warranty. I sent them back last year after the lab chewed them up and left them in the rain, and they sent me a new pair for ten bucks and i didnt even have a receipt. Only took 30 days from start to finish. They have my business for binocs in that price range.

Gator
Thanks everyone. I got that bargain cave flyer yesterday, but haven't had a chance to look at it. I may go to Bass Pro today and look and see what they have. Looks like it's time to cash in the change jar, lol!!
Texan_Til_I_Die
www.cameralandny.com I've dealt with these guys several times. Good people and some of the best prices to be found anywhere. x2 on the Vortex brand. Good mid-range optics comparable to Leupold or Steiner at a lower cost. stevebeilgard
nikon is the best dollar value in optics today, imo.
Gator
Looks like I went outside the box and bought some Redfield Rebels at Bass Pro. From what I read and have seen, these are some really good glass. I like them them and were in my price range. And Redfield is now owned by Leupold..... Strut10
Been using 8x32 Burris Landmarks for 5 years or so. Got them "free" with a 3-9 Fullfield II scope. For bowhunting, they are superb. They are under $100 to buy outright.
