My 1'st guess the score?

What you think. Taken in September at the bean field still in velvet. I really don't care but I know some of you get pretty close with your guestimates so I'm a bit curious.

Velvet on that first one makes it tough. Good beams and tine length. Not sure if he is a main frame 8 from that shot. As an 8 I would guess around 130.

I think your second buck is in that first pic in the back, noticed his brows. Think he goes in the mid 120's, probably around 127'ish

Interesting. William and I are usually on the same page, but kinda disagree a little.

First one I think he's a little better than 130, although the weak left brow will hurt. Second one, I don't think that deer will be much over 120.

You could be right Chris, my guesses are just guesses and usually I guess a little higher than you. Think that second buck probably ended up a little heavier in the mass measurements, while the first one obviously is taller and has longer beams. Both would be shooters here without any second thought, second one probably a skipper in your neck of the woods.

Suppose Matt is gonna have to tag them so we can see what they score.

The velvet deer should come in around 135, maybe even 140. It's hard for me to judge for Northern deer because the bodies are so different from our deer.

The second deer is probably 125, and I feel pretty good about that estimate.

I appreciate the guesstimates. Guess I wasn't too far off. Nice to see a couple like this running 'round the neighborhood to keep the hopes high throughout the season.

Fat chance I'll get to target either of them due to posting and no hunting, but the rut could very well land them right in one of my backyards not 2 miles from either of them. These bucks were 25 miles apart William so I doubt thats the 2'nd buck in the first pic.

Yea I'd say the second just makes P&Y in the high 120's and the first is in the 130's. Those high set of beams makes things look bigger than they really are I think.

i believe the first deer is much closer to 140 than 130.

They are both nice deer.

The first deer "appears" to only be an 8 point. It takes a very large and heavy 8 to make 140 inches. Remember you are losing inches from a 10 point. First deer would be 130. I love the way his rack wraps around.
