wtnhunt
We had above average snow here last year, would be nice to get an average year without the extremes. Some moisture would be nice as we have been in a drought, but hope the forecast is wrong about the above average rainfall.
Jeramie
We had a TON of snow last year. Im kind of glad it doesnt look like we are getting much. We arent suppose to be dry either.
92xj
We didn't have a lot of snow last year. Being in the desert i didnt think we would, but we did have some cold days/weeks. 3 weeks or so in the negatives for the low and the highs in the single digits. It was great duck hunting. I really dont care what it does as long as Western Canada gets cold and starts freezing soon! I would like some good snow though. If I dont get any here, I can drive an hour either way and find 10+ feet of it in a hurry, so I can at least get my fix.
Dawg
That sucks. I was hoping for another repeat of last year here. That's what the Old Farmers Almanac was forecasting, guess them old timers don't know what they're talking about afterall.
ckrich
I could do without the snow we had last year, but I wouldn't mind it being a little colder. I'm tired of bugs and having to hunt in a t-shirt to keep from getting heat stroke. Ok, that may be a small exaggeration, but I'm a freak and like it COLD. Tominator
They were totally wrong for my area last year with precipitation. They were predicting drier than normal, and we had at least 3 or 4 storms that produced 8 to 10 inches of snow each time. I'll never forget the 6' snow pile we had at the end of our driveway last year. My shoulder is still damaged from all that shoveling. The_Kat
Figures I come to PA with a chance to experience the "northen" winter I always hear/read about and they call for nothing special.
