been looking to buy a new bow but not sure which one im gonna buy yet ? ive always shot pse and martin , but have had my eye on diamond bows for awhile now ! went to the fort worth cabelas yestrday and hot the martin panteramag and was very disapointed . tha thing sounded like a freight train ! the guy workin at cabelas even shot it and he couldnt figure out why it was so loud , but we both decided that it was just a loud bow . ive shot the diamond ice man flx and the diamond black ice flx , both bows were quiet and smooth but then i shot thepse bow madness xs and was just as impressed ! so now im torn on just which bow to buy ! would greatly appreciate any feedback on theese boys ! :bang:

My son and I have owned three Diamonds so far. Quality is very good. I had a 2007 Liberty which I replaced with a 2008 Liberty only because I wanted the 60 pound limbs and a friend wanted to buy my 2007 (70 pound).

The Liberty is very smooth and as quiet a bow as I have seen. Not a speed burner, which is not a big deal to me.

I always wanted the Black Ice but it was a little too pricey. I have no opinion on the Ice Man as I haven't shot it.

One thing I will tell you is that I have sent emails to Diamond and never got replies back. I have been told that Bow tech customer service isn't the best out there.

I think that you can find a good bow no matter what the brand. Shoot a bunch of them. Good luck.

The guys who shot alot (10,000 times a year +) tend to own Mathews and Hoyt bows. They are accurate and durable. Most have years of use with little maintenance. I had nothing but trouble with the two Diamond bows I owned (Black Ice and a Marquis). They warranteed them with no problem but I like to shoot not wait for my bow to come back from the manufacturer.

Shoot many, then choose..

Yep, you have to go out and shoot them and let the bow pick you, not the other way around. Of the ones you mentioned, I really can't see you going wrong picking any of them. If you can't decide, shoot them again until stands out. If you still can't decide, buy the least expensive :) These days, it is hard to find a bad bow, no matter the price range, there are a lot of great shooting bows out there.
