need2hunt
Hunting is different for everyone, here's a song I used to listen to when going out in for a morning hunt... "I'ld rather fight you for something I don't really want, than take what you give that I need" "The reckless, raging fury they call the love of God" Rich died a mere 5 months after he sang this song at a concert in Illinois back in 1997. "You think you have crossed some sacred line and I will ignore you?" If I were a singer... (takes a second for him to get in to the song) The cost of real devotion seems so foriegn to my life... need2hunt
I was actually at the festival where this group won the battle of the bands and received a recording contract for their first album as the prize. Seen Kim a few times in concert as well as Wes King (the guy with the white guitar) they were always awesome.
need2hunt
Here's a few from a band that i listened to A LOT when I was growing up... It was amazing back then (and probably still some today) that many in the church thought that you were a rebel (or more directly couldn't know God) for listening to "such music". I even remember having full sermons directed straight at the youth for listening to "Christian Rock n Roll" That's probably why I listened to so much of it. Still love all kinds, even stuff like the following... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KubgMDSMXfI
need2hunt
mortenson is shaking his head and thinking I created monster lol Here is a rare recording of Leslie Philips singing Strength of my Life. I loved her music, her album The Turning was extremely powerful. She actually denounced the Christian Music scene (not God) after releasing The Turning, if I remember right because of it's hypocricy, she also changed her name from Leslie to Sam. These next few are from a concert in PA... River of Love The Turning I will Carry You Down
