simpzenith2
I have an old Warren & Sweat hang-on stand that weighs about 5 lbs. I've had it for years and would like to buy a new stand that is just as small and lightweight as I can carry it for miles with no problem. I hunt public land almost exclusively and by MN law, I have to carry it out with me every evening which is another reason that it must be light. Are there any companies today that make a stand like this anymore?
92xj
Just buy one of those slings that you hang from a limb once you climb the tree with logger spikes. So, light, you won't even know you're carrying it. Can hang/sit there all day in them. Acts like your built in safety harness. 2 birds, one stone. Used to have a guy that hunted with us in SC and thats all he would ever hunt out of. I tried it a couple of times and they are pretty awesome. HUNTINGMAN
I think a tree saddle is what is spoken of above, they look like they would be good to use for mobility. I agree with the lone wolf stands, they are extremely light and well built.
Rhino
About the lightest ones I know of are Lone Wolf but their lightest hang on is somewhere in the 11 pound range.
