JDAWG
I definately would go and get my deer. The laws for posting your land are so difficult to adhere to, you wouldn't be able to get yourself into too much trouble. For instance you have to have a clearly marked, unobstructed sign posted EVERY 100 ft around the border of your property. Almost impossible to completly comply. Go get your buck man! Turkeygirl
Wow...that is a shame...I'm along the same lines of Ranger Clay...not that I've ever been in a situation thankfully, but knowing how people are these days...no one wants to break laws and no one wants God's meat go to waste... The Lord knows....this guy will answer for it.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Yep, you can probably give up on that deer. Now, if you're the sort who doesn't like to be put upon by his neighbors, there are any number of legal things you can do to make life miserable for him. Get very familiar with all of the state laws regarding things like littering, outside burning, noise nuisance, air pollution, livestock regs, CRP regs, water regs, water well regs, disposal of used items (tires, batteries, etc) and anything else you can think of. Keep the proper authorities for each area on speed dial and carry a camera, with the correct date/time set, around with you at all times. Good luck. stcif
The landowner is a jerk, plain and simple. I can clearly understand not wanting people hunting on your own land, but this is nonsense. I have learned the hard way that it is senseless to argue with the senseless. You probably will never get this guy to give in one bit. Pass the word around to everyone what a jerk this guy is. Someday, sometime he will need someone's help. Karma is a you know what. He's probably got an acre of weed growin in there! I have a neighbor like this. He's a jerk just to be a jerk.
buckee
My hat's off you you Dale. You're doing it all right now. Hopefully your friend the sheriff can at least embarrass him if nothing else.
