She practiced shooting as much as 6 hours a day. The Annie Oakley Motto: "Aim at the high mark and you will hit it. No, not the first time, nor the second and maybe not the third. But keep on aiming and keep on shooting for only practice will make you perfect. Finally, you'll hit the Bull's Eye of Success." This incredible women who called herself Annie Oakley overcame adversity, poverty, prejudice, physical setbacks and her inner modesty to become a star shooter and a woman who broke barriers for other women in the entertainment industry, and in trapshooting, sport hunting, and self-defense arenas. I read her autobiography and she had a real dysfunctional early childhood and many obstacles to over come. She always took the high-road, never complaining and pursued her career. God bless her.
