Got him!

UPDATE - neighbor did know who the culprit is and told the Warden that the person did NOT have permission to hunt his property and that as far as he was concerned he was trespassing on his property as well. Looks like the book will be thrown at this guy. Moved the camera when I checked it and found the pics of him spreading the apples. Still has a clear view of the stand and my property in between but from a different perspective and location.

Somehow that is not that surprising. Hope they do throw the book at him Ross. Good job nailing him.

Wish we could get some of the trespassing stopped around here, afraid we may have someone slipping in on my neighbor again.

Went and talked to the neighbor and he claims no knowledge of the stand in question. Large parcel of property (600 acres) and it is right at the line on the far corner from his house. I asked him about removing the stand and he said that since he did not know who put it there he would not touch it.
The landowner response looks like is classic hand washing to me. Hope the guy tells the warden the truth and nothing but the truth. Can't believe the landowner would not remove an instrument of liability on his property "not knowing" whose it was. Edited by ruttinbuc

The warden caught up to the guy with the ladder stand and is going back on the neighbor as well. It seems the guy with the ladder stand had a signed permission slip from the neighbor giving him permission to hunt his property. So despite the neighbor claiming he was trespassing on his land as well, it appears that the neighbor knew what was up all along. Charging ladder stand with trespassing and baiting. Don't know if they can charge the neighbor for anything other than to give him a good talking to about lying to the Warden in the first place. Still waiting for my card back from the Warden.

I knew it! Seemed funny from the start with the neighbor's initial response to you. Hope the warden gives him an earful if he can't charge him with anything. Maybe the guy will smarten up a little. Apparently, he is not as smart as he thought he was. Amazing.
