92xj Posted November 6, 2010 Report Share Posted November 6, 2010 Now that Tim has tagged out in Kansas, it's time for Clint and Rodney to get out and hunt. Clint asked if I would do a live hunt for him and Rodney and of course I said Yes! So, the guys will be hunting all week, starting this morning. While in the stand this morning they were covered up with a ton of deer. Had a lot of little bucks chasing does, but no shooters. They are headed back to the stand in about an hour and are going to send some pics for you guys to see and to make sure he and I are connected with this whole technology sharing stuff. They rattled in a small 8 pt. that ended up trying to bred the decoy. :bang: They are headed to the horseshoe stand, where Tim killed his deer, this afternoon. 92xj Posted November 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 2 does just walked into the field. Tim glassed this field after he killed his buck and saw a number of does and smaller bucks. 92xj Posted November 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 Just got done talking to Clint. yesterday was slow. They only saw 7 does and small bucks in the evening. In the morning they had a 145" come to within 50 yards but winded them and there was no shot. This morning consist of the same, does and small bucks. They are getting a little frustrated, but what can you do. Also, Clint is going to get some more pictures to me sometime today, so we will at least be able to see what it looks like from their eyes. The weather is a little overcast so hopefully that will cool it down a little and they get some good movement. I know we had a nice cold front come through in Wa today with rain and cold temps so hopefully that makes it their way in the next day or so and it really gets the deer moving.
