arrow32
Bad morning turned good.lol Woke up this morning and didn't think about the time change this past weekend so I was a little late getting out to the farm. I was kinda ticked about that but went into a stand that is easy to get to and is fast to get to due to it getting daylight. Well I get up in the stand get all set up and nothing happened forever. I was to worried about it I was having fun watching the squirrel infested area around me. Then all the sudden I see a deer coming towards me notice its just a little dinky spike and just watch him go on by. Later he comes back through below me in the same fast manner as before. The next hour and a half go by with nothing happening at all. I'm making a scan around me and I start to look to my left and see BUCK nice 8pt at that. So I grab my bow and get ready. While I'm watching this buck mind you I'm shooting this thing if given the chance.lol I notice he is prolby only a 1.5 years old so I decide I'm going to let him walk. Fun to watch tho wish I had gotten my camera out instead of my bow but oh well I thought for sure I was droppin a deer this morning. I then proced to mess with him I grunted at him and he jumped funniest thing I've saw in a while. Thinking he must have gotten his butt kicked by a buck at some point. Now I'm just hoping he can make it through gun season with all the shoot happy morons around the farm. Keepin the fingers crossed:D Sorry for the long rant on my morning. Gotta work tonight or I'd be in a stand.
buckee
Patience buddy, patience. Sounds like you had a good morning and made a good decision not to shoot. I hope it pays off for you later.
