ruttinbuc
That is sad. You just can't stress it enough how important that harness is is. Condolences to the family.
Tominator
On your way up, while you hunt, and on your way down. No deer is worth your life. Really a shame.

dbHunterNY
they still don't know how he fell out??! his weight was centered over the edge of the platform and HE DIDN'T HAVE A HARNESS ON. that's horrible. i wish his family and friend best getting through the loss. had to be rough on the friend/land owner. wtnhunt
That is sad, happens every year and all over the country. Between the falls and "accidental" shootings too many people are loosing their lives when these things in most cases could be and should be prevented. RangerClay
Such a shame. There is no reason for this. I have my harness packed in the truck right now. (Thanks again Chris & GW )
GWSmith
On your way up, while you hunt, and on your way down. No deer is worth your life. Really a shame. Agreed...There is no reason especially these days with whats availible. Dont let pride get in your way if you do not have a harness. Many people have extra ones sitting around gathering dust from treestands they ordered and since many of them come with a full body safety harness there is no excuse not to ask for one! Your Welcome Joe...I have my second HSS Pro Series and an extra LifeLine coming on the UPS truck in the next few days just for backups! Also there is No Excuse for hunters who are larger than average...thanks to T-Bone himself these became a reality: http://www.huntersafetysystem.com/xl/
stevebeilgard
just like the accidental gun discharges that happen every year, this is an avoidable trajedy. very sad for all those involved and the hunting industry itself.
