texastrophies
Go to my parents for Thanksgiving Day, eat dinner and shortly thereafter, head out to Mena, Ar. to go to Jake's other Grandparents for a couple of days. Then get home early enough on Sunday to go to the Rockets/Thunder basketball game. Come back to work the following monday to rest.

92xj
Cant afford to fly home so it will be lonely. I plucked a fat mallard yesterday that I will smoke for myself and Maggie. Will be out duck hunting for 5 days straight, so that will keep my mind off of missing home and family. Sunday, I will be packing for a week in Vegas for a work conference. TBow
Like Muff said, our Thanksgiving here in Canuckistan was over a month ago. That being said, I still trek across the border just prior to commemorating the pilgrims and their bountiful harvests to reap the rewards of $0.39/lb turkeys. I usually grab one or two of those 25 lb poultry sleeping pills from Price Chopper, then come home and get the expandable pants ready! I hope to be out in a treestand that day. As for the giving of thanks? I do that every day I wake up and see my family safe and sound! TBow
lil hunter
No plans here. This will be my 2nd Thanksgiving in a row away from home. Last year I was on the East Coast, this year on the West. Probably spend the day about like most of my days off. Sleep in a little bit, eat the same ol fruit and cottage cheese for breakfast at the chow hall, play a little Madden football, go to the gym, and spend the rest of my time layin around the room. I might splurge this year and order a pizza or something for my Thanksgiving dinner.

Tominator
Same as the last few years. With the immediate family on Thursday, then my side of the family is coming over because we have the most kids and the biggest house. wtnhunt
Not too sure yet Dale, but I will be in a tree somewhere Thursday morning. Used to always have the inlaws here when my mother in law was still alive. Done some pretty big spreads when we had all the inlaws here, two 16 lb birds a ham, and all the trimmings, miss the gathering but not the cleanup. Still smoke a turkey every year though, done small boneless the past few years for just us, but we may have company this year so dunno for sure what I will be cooking. Dawg
Same as usual. Go to my parent's house along with other kin folk, usually a few aunt's, uncle's and cousins show up too. We eat the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Adjam5
We usually have it at my house with my wife doing the cooking. But this year my brother will be in Aruba with his family, so my kids, wife and I will be hoofing it down to NYC to have dinner with my Mom at a local restaurant. This will be the first time in my life we have EVER eaten at a Restaurant for any holiday. Mom is alone, old and don't like to travel. So we are accommodating her. It will be the first one without my Pop .
