blackranny
Sat. I had a good shot at a decent 6 pt. but due to the bulk of my clothing I couldn't get on him like I wanted. I passed on the shot. It was one of the coldest mornings yet, 26 degrees so I was layered up pretty well. My question - what is the least bulky clothing system/jacket I can get that won't restrict me? I am looking for clothing that will keep me warm down into the single digits. I'd like info on layering systems (i.e. Underarmour) all the way to a good outer shell. Thanks for your help!
robinhood
thermals with under armour cold gear and a wool jacket with camo shirt does the job for me in 20degree weather! hope you find what works well for you. had being in the woods uncomfortable! cray8705
Under Armour all the way. the Cold gear is light weight but very warm. They also have a new camo jacket and pants its called the ridge reaper, I haven't checked it out yet because i can't afford it anyway, but it has good reviews, will probably be my next clothing purchase though. ckrich
You simply can't beat Under Armor. The amount of insulation it provides while still being as light and thin as it is is simply amazing. I plan on looking into getting a full set of their camo, but that's going to have to wait until Christmas. For now I wear one of their sweatshirts, with thermals and long sleeve tshirt, under my medium weight windshear jacket and stay warm as could be. RangerClay
You cannot beat these to prevent string slap.
