Bowtech_archer07
Well, tomorrow is the opening day of IL shotgun season and I'm going to be..... in bed because I have to be at the hospital at 9:30 for surgery. I'm having my tonsils out and probably won't be able to hunt at all this weekend. This is a routine outpatient procedure and i'm sure everything will go smoothly but I'm still nervous. If you guys could spare a few thoughts for me I would appreciate it. I will try to get on tomorrow and let you all know how things went. Bowtech_archer07
my first thoughts were to say "Ahhhhh"...holy moly those are huge!... yup we will send one up for ya..hang in there, enjoy the ice cream...LOL That's pretty much what the docs told me. My primary physician said he has never seen tonsils this big in somebody my age (22). They have been swollen since May and haven't really gone down. At one point in October I had to take tylenol to be able to drink water or gatorade much less eat solid food. Thanks guys for the support and al, hope you guys get a big one tomorrow. I will be a forum junkie looking for some big bucks taken.

c_lou
Don't push your recovery. Tonsil removal on an adult takes a lot longer to recover than it does for kids. Pretty routine surgery, prayers on the way.

Bowtech_archer07
Glad things went well buddy.........my son shot at Doezilla, and didnt hold true on her, shot under her, and got the scope ring forehead...lol.......had about 100 people at the breakfast stop feel for him....lol.......one was a really cute blonde girl that was a deer hunter, so he liked that........al LOL always a silver lining. I actually got to go out tonight. I was feeling good when I woke up and dad and a good friend of ours took me out and put me in a fenceline and walked a draw to me. They jumped up 6 deer and a little doe came over about 60 yards away but I passed. There is still 2nd season. It's just a good sign I was feeling well enough to get out in the woods. I pushed it a little hard and my throat was sore when I got home but I'm glad I went. Off to bed now to rest up and heal some more. Hope you have better luck 2nd season al! I was wondering where those hand prints on the outside of my bedroom picture came from....weirdo!!! It's not the looks that makes the ladies melt..... Only thing I need to figure out now is how to keep them from "falling in love" so dang quickly. What a turn off.
