PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
I am looking for a scope that has the parralax adjusted to 50 yds but want to mount it on my 50 cal inline. So far all I have found are a couple of slug gun scopes that may do. I may have to go to a OA type scope so I can adjust the parralax to match the distance. Yes I am on a bit of a budget. wtnhunt
Not sure on the parallax adjustment, just have a cheap bushnell sportsman 3-9x40 on my tc black diamond. Seems to be just fine for what we need it for, my wife and I both have killed deer with it. Shots have been from under 40 yards on out to over 160. One of these days gonna upgrade to an omega, or something with weather shield finish, and probably will go with a little nicer glass. LETMGROW
My scope of choice for both my muzzleloader and slug gun is the Simmons Pro Diamond. The 1.5-5 x 32 will do anything you could want at an economical price. It performs well at 25 yds. out to 150 yds. with no distorsion and is clear in low light conditions. In our family alone we have 7 of these and have never had a failure. I use the same scope on my turkey gun as well. Dollar for dollar, I think it is one of the best buys out there. hungry hunter
Check Natchez shooter supplies for some good scopes that may be what ya need and fit your budget. I shifted to Nikkon Omega this year love it got it for 65.00 in the box never used.
Grady269
Most new sopes do not have parrallex adjsutments until you get up into a 12-16X upper power limit. On a 3-9x40 it's really hard to find, Yo may have to go to a fixed power 4X.
too_pointer
Hello, I have this Mueller scope, 4.5x14 APV with all adjustments. It is very clear and well worth the price. too_ http://www.muelleroptics.com/products/MAPV451440
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
I think I may have a solution to my delema. I have a Bushnell 3200 4-12 OA on my 270. I am thinking of putting a 6-18 Bushnell XLT on it and replacing the one on my inline with the 3200. That will also free up a scope for my 243. PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
I went and did it. I ordered a Bushnell Trophy XLT for my 270. The Bushnell 3200 4-12 comes off and goes on my inline. I really like the 3200 and it should do me well and it is an AO so that solves my delima with finding a scope parralax free at 50 - 75 yds. I already have several higher power scopes and really like them. Maybe it is just my eyes but I see better with those bigger power scopes. Oh well I am the one I have to please and right now I am smiling.
