1st of all...thanks for all the thoughts & prayers. They are very much appreciated. I came home yesterday to catch up with bills, etc. So far each day my father is showing a little bit of improvement. He was transferred to another hospital last Monday that has a rehab wing. He'll be there doing speech, occupational, & physical therapy for 4 weeks. He has regained some use of his left leg and left arm but has no control yet of his left hand. He couldn't control his swallowing so they put a peg tube in him last Sunday. It should be just a matter of time before he can eat regular food again. The speech therapist is working with him on that. They have had him up and with assitance working on walking. It will take some time before he can walk on his own with a walker or a cane. Time will tell if he has any permanent disability. Till then it's one day at a time.

Thanks again...Al
