beagleboy
I went out this morning around 6am and saw several does. Then nothing till about 8am. I just happen to see a deer in the corner of my eye and caught a glimpse of an antler at about 70yrds. I then lost him. He had bedded and I could not see him. I glassed and saw his body and an antler everytime he turned his head. He was bedded for about 20 minutes till a shot rang out close by. He got up and started to make his way to me and then quartered away and my 11-87 barked and put him down. As I got up, I was kneeling the whole time, he got up and made a run for it and my 2nd shot caught him. He is a 7pt
dsharp01
Nice buck, can't eat the antlers I say. I'm glad to see NYrs having some luck being from there myself. 1st time Ive missed a season in 12 years. Congrats and looks like the kids are enjoying him as well.
