gobblerroller
Hey fellas. Got a question for you guys. Really trying to get a deer. I have been five times in a row and have not even seen a deer. I hunt in south Georgia and at the beginning of the season, the rut is in full swing (October 16th, this season). I have killed three does and a 6 point, but the meat was given to my Grandad. I am 14 and now I really need to kill a deer for my Papa becaus he doesn't have any meat. We just cannot see a deer. Around here, Thanksgiving is about the last chance to kill a good deer. Since I am trying to just shoot meat, should I climb over a food plot in the evening and see if I can kill a doe or hunt where I think a big buck is and take a chance at seeing nothing? Either way, I will end up climbing at the food plot. Just wondering if I should hunt there in the evening tomorrow or wait until Thanksgiving morning. Any advice would be appreciated.
