pointing_dogs_rule
Does it get any better? 14 degrees, 15 mph northwest wind, windchill 0 degrees, sunny sky, belly crawling at 7:30 am over ice covered ground for 100 yards, no glove on my shooting hand (hand numb), turkeys go away from me. Plan #2..... "scare the **** out of them" and then call them back together. Marty hoots and hollars and waves hands and turkeys scatter in all directions. Sit down under a nice Oak tree, on icy ground (cold butt) and start calling, 15 minutes later one answers back, more soft calling, more answers, see turkey at 30 yards, put down call, put up gun, turkey exits from behind tree....BANG! End of story as Marty has Thanksgiving dinner. LIFE IS GREAT! Yes, it's actually as COLD as I look. good luck to all the dog
