gobblerroller
Yesterday, my grandpa killed a doe. When he got to the deer, he called me and told me he had shot a young doe. When we looked at the deer at the skinning rack, it looked like an older deer because of her head. When I cut through the milk sack, she did have milk in her, but the hide came off like a yearling's would. This deer was very skinny, and we cannot figure it out. The deer was the smaller of the two does at the food plot. Any thoughts?

92xj
that is a my signature pic of a buck i killed earlier this year... I was joking. It's kinda hard to judge the age of a deer without seeing it. Heck, from your description it could be anywhere from a year old to 10 years old. Dont really know and dont really know how to guess. wtnhunt
Never heard of judging a doe by how easy the hide pealed off. Best thing I can tell you is to check her teeth if you still have the head. Go here http://tndeer.com/aging.html.
