brad dryden
My brother works with the guy that filmed it and my brother told me about this video so I figured I would slap it on here for everyone.

hoosierhunter
That's a giant deer but he doesn't even look like a booner to me let alone 199 and change. Right after the shot the guy said a 160 and that's what I would guess him at.
smallmunster
I thought 160 when he was shot on the video, but he is a lot bigger when you get up next to him and see all the junk on the rack. As a main frame 10 he would gross 160 or better not counting 9 extra points with some of them being pretty long. Not sure about the 199 but he is well past 160 I would say. Either way it is a great deer.
brad dryden
I agree the 199 seemed kinda high but this was his green score not sure what it will be after drying out.
stevebeilgard
160 or 199, it's a great buck and an excellent video to go with it.
unioncountyslayer
Definitely a great buck no matter what the score, and I love seeing these "home movie" deer hunts. I'm just glad the kid didn't fall out of the stand after he shot him. Why hunters continue to hunt that high, in climbers with all the safety harnesses on the market without one is beyond me. Ethan Givan
That is a nice video. As far as the score, he says towards the end that its probably a 170 class deer and I would say thats real close. Score doesnt matter when they get that big though. Expect to hear about alot of big bucks killed in KY this year. I dont know why, but I know more people this year that killed awesome bucks, and saw big deer than ever before. The rut action was awesome mid November which is during our gun season. I saw some of the biggest bucks and best rut action that I have ever seen. Congrats to this hunter on taking an awesome buck.
