Strut10
Last Monday was our PA opener. Lilmissdangerous took her first buck, a 6-pointer, right around 9:00 A.M. She put a perfect 75-ish yard shot on him with a 150 gr. Power Point from her Weatherby .308 Win. Once she and her uncle figured out where the deer was really standing when she shot, a quick recovery was made. Only have cell phone pics. Sorry. Then this morning I sat with Lil Strut10 in the same stand his sister struck from on Monday. At 8:00 a group of 5 deer came in from below us. There were 2 does, 2 yearling does and a buck. Lil debated over shooting the buck. It was well outside the ear on the right side but broken off right around the brow on the left. Finally, he decided to pass the buck and take a mature doe....................which he did with a 60-ish yard shot . He placed a perfectly executed 180 gr. Power Point from his own Weatherby .308 Win on the old gal and a visual recovery was made. Very proud of these two. Lilmissdangerous was all on her own in the stand. She stopped the buck with a "mah" and lowered the boom. Lil passed on what would have been his first buck with a rifle. I sure hope he gets a look at that buck next year. I'm guessing it will be in the 20" neighborhood.

Strut10
Found a trailcam pic of the buck Lil left live this A.M. It's a broken up wreck. But he has the potential to be a hoss in a year or two. Good job, Lil !!!!!!!
