Only thing was he was working those birds hard for about 2 hours before he belly crawled to the crest of a ridge to look down and see those penned up birds that were hammering away at his calling. HAHA! nice one bud! that's good. we were deer huntin one year on property that one fo our grandpas owend, but we hadn't hunted their much. i was sittin alons what i thought was just a fence from one field to another. i'd been there bout 30 mins. and next thing i no this elk bugles, and i stand up quick and look round thinkin wow, never heard a deer like that. i live in central illinois and it turned out to be people who raised exotics....lol!
