not until the snow melts in march..but i dont spend much time looking..turkey hunting is about to get goin and spring is busy

I never get too excited. Never really had much luck looking for sheds. The only sheds Ive found have been when I wasnt shed hunting. Ill go but its hard with school, I dont get home much in the spring.

Ive been wanting to give it a try but i dont have a clue on where to even start looking...i hunt public land and havnt really seen to many bucks out there

Shed HeadYea here in North Central MO, I usually start looking towards the end of Jan., with snow still on the ground I can atleast get an idea on where their bedding/traveling, then through Feb/March I hit it hard. Best spots for me: Field edges that are tucked back into corners, thickets where they bed, travel routes from these thickets to corn, fences where they have to jump (the landing sometimes knocks the antlers off), and if you find one odds are the other one is close, bothers the bucks to be lopsided.
