Alisha
Justin and I have been hunting several times this fall, but forgot the camera a few times and/or the weather was too bad to take it with us. Here are a few random pictures from this season so far! Hopefully we get some geese in the next couple weeks! April's first retrieve! I was SO proud! April's 2nd retrieve! Justin, our friend Justin, and a newbie to waterfowl! Justin and I had a fun day on the ocean this day. 2 hen 'ol squaws, 1 male 'ol squaw, a male eider, and a male surf scoter! Close up of the surf scoter bill. God's artistry at work!
Jeramie
That scoter is beautiful! that would make a great mount! Wow....
Alisha
Jeramie - Aren't they though?? I would have to say that they are in my top 3 favorite ducks based on looks. Very unique!
92xj
Forgot the camera this afternoon, but came home with a pintail drake and 3 mallards. One green head was the size of a small goose and had 6 curls. He is going to the taxidermist tomorrow!

92xj
woody and now a greenhead.By the end of season you might be on the payment plan with your taxidermist.I would love to get a nice drake pintail on my wall! If all goes well, I hope to take him a nice mature Pintail, all the ones I have killed so far have been immature with very short pin feathers. Also, during January if I can find the redheads like I did last year he will be doing one of those for me. Then I will be done for this year at least. Hopefully next year will be my year to get some big game mounted.

My buddy Cole(left) and his dad Harve(middle) have taught me more about waterfowling in the last two seasons than I could have ever hoped for.
