Any homemade deer feeder designs?

I am hoping someone here has some designs for a good simple deer feeder.

I have built a few made from PVC sewer pipe that is a gravity feeder but they don't hold much and have to be filled too often.

I am thinking about using that same design and attach it to the bottom of a plastic 55 gallon drum that has a removable lid and stands on legs.

You guys have any other ideas?

2 designs but no pics handy....one takes a trash can and cut a rectangle down on the bottom curve and mount it to a piece of plywood. I did this with the rectangle pointed at a corner on the ply wood and put a wood lip around it to stop the corn from rolling off of it. make sure to use of sort of spacers between the board and the lip to let water out. I wedged a rock under it once i put it out. The plywood board is square and only slightly larger than the base of the can. The second has a trash can with a flange in the base of it with a 2 foot piece of 3 inch pvs pipe hooked to it. then i mounted the base of the pipe to a 5 gallon bucket , i put the pipe about halfway down the bucket and lots of screws through the back of the bucket and into the pipe to hold in place.... I drilled small holes in the bottom of the bucket to let water out. If your interested let me know and i will get pics next time i am out for you.

Here's one of two i built,55 gallon drum...Cole roll thru top of drum, use a piece of angle big enough to attach a winch on it bolt it to another tree, take a piece of cable an wrap it around a limb with pulley on it.Plastic drum's are to easy for squirrel's,i've had them chew hole's in them.I did have to wrap bottom of these feeder's with cage wire(just big enuff for corn to pass thru)cause the squirrel's would get on slinger and chew wire's going to solar panel.I also made easy on an off lid's for them, these picture'd are bolt on ring's,did away with ring and mig'd a 11/2 lip on lid.
