Ethan Givan
Checked the camera here at the house today and got a pic of something running thru the frame. Only got one pic and its hard to tell what it is for sure. Whats your guess? I think it might be a fox. I circled it in pink so you would see what Im talking about. :void(0)'> and cropped pic for a little closer look :void(0)'>

hoosierhunter
that's a black dog. Compared to other things relative in the pic it's way to big for a cat....
layin on the smackdown
i can see how it does look like a big black ferral cat....and i can see how it might be a black dog....However, it looks like the creature is not super close to the camera, and it looks like it has short legs with a fat belly....The first thing that came to my mind was a black hog...I don't know if you got em down there by you Ethan, but thats the first thing that came to my mind... HUNTINGMAN
Wild hog was my first thought also. You know they have been spotted here in the state more and more lately.
Hunt or be Hunted
Thought it was a hog also, If you don't have them then I'd say a black dog. If not then a cat.

Ive never seen any hogs around here, nor have any of the surrounding landowners. There are some in the state but not alot compared to states South of us. We occasionally get some darker than normal coyotes around here. In the cropped pic it almost look like the end of a bushy tail sticking out on the other side of that tree it ran behind, but cant really tell. Most of those sightings described were in far western and far eastern KY, and I live right in the middle. However, my neighbor up the road that we have known many years saw a mountain lion in this area while he was deer hunting several years ago. Also my uncle found cat tracks in the snow that measured about 5 inches across a couple years ago on his farm just 10-12 miles from me. I have no doubt there are mountain lions, pumas, or whatever you want to call them in my area. I keep looking at this pic and I really think its either some sort of canine or possibly a hog. If it was a hog though, I would have thought that it would be eating my corn right in front of the camera.
wtnhunt
Large black feral cat would be my guess. What it looks like to me anyway.

aldridgem1
I agree with the short legs and fat belly it does look like a hog but not in the face. Almost looks like a cat face. Nothing else its a good picture to talk about. Let us know if you find out what it is.
